MAKITA WINS FASTENAL OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE AWARD
Makita selected out of nearly 1,000 Fastenal Suppliers
Fastenal awarded Makita with their annual "2011 Operational Excellence Supplier of the Year" award at the Fastenal Expo in Orlando, FL.  Mike Tilley, Makita VP of National Accounts (second from left) and Brad Echols, Makita National Accounts Manager (third from left), accept Fastenal's 2011 Operational Excellence Supplier of the Year award. Makita was selected out of almost 1,000 Fastenal suppliers. The award is based on a variety of operational criteria including fill rate, lead time, EDI processing, and more. Fastenal also measured feedback from their distribution centers. All data was compiled to select one winner, and Makita came away with the prize for 2011.
