Reviewer likes LXRM03B for durable construction, compact size, great sound, and more had a look at the new 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Jobsite Radio, and he liked what he saw (and heard).

Stuart Deutsch at first noted the rugged design. And although he didn't throw it down a flight of stairs, he guessed that the LXRM03B would survive the journey thanks to the roll bars and rubberized bumpers. He also liked the static-free and distortion-free radio reception (he dialed-up Z100 FM, for those of you in the tri-state area), and the iPhone®. iPod® and MP3 compatibility. He even noted the comfortable handle and the blue backlight illumination.

In the end, Deutsch called the LXRM03B "an excellent product." Read the entire review here

60+ Tools, One 18V Battery
The LXRM03B is the latest addition to Makita's 18V LXT® line-up. As the leading innovator in cordless tools, Makita created the 18V Lithium-Ion category in 2005. Today there are over 60 Makita 18V cordless tools powered by one 18 Lithium-Ion battery. Makita's groundbreaking 18V Lithium-Ion platform features the ENERGY STAR® qualified Rapid Optimum Charger that will charge an 18V LXT® in only 30 minutes and an 18V Compact battery in only 15 minutes, so the battery spends more time working and less time sitting on the charger.
